We connected over a shared love for our roots—Southern, musical, personal. For Durand, our origin story as a fashion house based in Alabama reminded him of his own Southern roots. He shared his memories as a child dressing in his Sunday best, and the elders who inspired his love for dressing well. “When I saw Billy Reid was from Florence, Alabama, it hit home. It reminded me of my family—the pride they took in dressing up. That heritage is something I want to reflect in my own art.” These guys are soul to the bone—thanks for wearing us well.
